DAY 01: SUNDAY: DEPARTURE – NEW  YORK/CAIRO: Your destiny with Africa begins today as you board your transatlantic flight headed for the “exotic continent”. Depart on a wide-body jetliner from New York (JFK).  NOTE: For security reasons, check-In counter opens 5 hours before departure and closes 2 hours before take off. You are allowed to check-in 2 pieces of luggage free, each weighing 70lbs or less, and 1 carry-on WEIGHING 12lbs or less. Please remember your passports, and any visas required. We provide free visa service, however visa fees charged by Egypt embassy must accompany visa applications plus required recent passport photos and a valid passport. ADD ON FARES ARE AVAILABLE FROM MAJOR US CITIES.

DAY 02: MONDAY - Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted through customs and formalities, then transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Cairo.

DAY 03: TUESDAY - You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, you will be transferred to your Deluxe Nile Cruise Boat for a 5-day/4-night Nile cruise. Accommodations aboard will consist of an Outside Junior Suite Cabin with private facilities. Afternoon sail by felucca for an outside visit to the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island. Overnight on board. Meals: (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
OPTIONAL ABU SIMBEL EXCURSION ($195
) - Prior to boarding your Nile cruise, you can fly over to the Temples of Abu Simbel. Visit the Great Temples of Ramses II. Stand before the colossal statue of the Pharoah with smaller statues of his wife Nefertari and daughters at his feet. After this visit, you will fly to Aswan and board your Nile Cruise.

DAY 04: WEDNESDAY - Visit the High Dam, Old Dam, Philae Temple, and the Granite Quarries. Sail to Edfu. Overnight on board. Meals: (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

DAY 05: THURSDAY - Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the best preserved of all the large Egyptian Temples. Sail to Luxor. Overnight on board. Meals (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

DAY 06: FRIDAY - Cross the Nile to the West Bank. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Colossi of Memnon, Queen Hatshepsut Funerary Temple, and the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Overnight on board. Meals (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

DAY 07: SATURDAY - Visit Luxor Temple dedicated to the god Amon-Ra. It was expanded by Ramses II, who added statues of himself. Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple. After disembarkation, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo. Meals (Breakfast)

DAY 08: SUN - Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the world's largest collection of artifacts from the era of the pharaohs including some belonging to King Tut. Tour Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit sites like the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Moallaka Church, where the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus took refuge. Spend the afternoon at the Great Pyramids of Giza and the defending Sphinx. End the day at the bazaar of Khan El Khalili. Overnight in Cairo. Meals: (Breakfast/Lunch)

DAY 09: MON - This day is at leisure. Overnight in Cairo. Meals (Breakfast)

DAY 10: TUE - You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your return flight. Meals (Breakfast)
